Clay Stamped Ornament for Visible Image

This week I wanted to share with you another "something different" project. I have another layout in the works for next week but I have been making ornaments all week for various blog posts and wanted to make an ornament for Visible Image as well! Today is the start of a bit of an ornament-palooza on my blog!! Stay tuned tomorrow for three posts of ornament overload lol!! We put up our tree this weekend so it will be wonderful to have lots of new decorations to add to it!!

This ornament is made from air-dried clay and the largest snowflake from the Enchanting Snowflakes set. I just love these beautiful snowflakes with just the right amount of distressing on the image to make them super gorgeous! To make these simply roll out a circle and take your favorite stamp and push it down into the clay... Let the clay dry then paint. I used some glimmery watercolors I had and then brushed silver mica into the snowflake design...it makes for a lovely rustic but glimmery ornament. This kind of project would be perfect for the kids to do as well!! I added a bow to finish it off and bit of twine to hang it.

I had a lot of fun making this and I hope you enjoyed looking! If you like the beautiful snowflake stamps, simply click on the link or image to head to the shop.
