Anniversary Card for Riddersholm Designs

This week I'd love to share another vintage card using the gorgeous Fall Flea Market 6x6 papers! I chose the Retro Light paper and the Classifieds paper to make my layers, stitching around each. I chose a gorgeous vintage image from my stash and added a sentiment.

I used a gorgeous flourish from Wycinaka to frame the image.

A Prima Flower and two Ink-it Cherry Blossoms and twine loops finish off the card, perfect for anniversary wishes.

Love Layout for La-La Land Crafts

This week at La-La Land Crafts the theme is Doilies!  I just love to use the Heart Doily Die on my layouts so that is what I chose to use here!

I used the beautiful Blue Fern Sanctuary papers for this layout, layering them up and stitching them together. I used the Heart Doily Border Die as a base for the photos then piled on the flowers. I added the Creepy Vines Die  and tucked in the Feathers (Set of 2)

I added a few of the Fancy Butterfly Die around the page and then finished with the Love Word Die for the title. I added in a little ribbon bow from my stash and some stitching to finish it off.

I hope you like my layout this week!!

Something New for La-La Land Crafts

This week at La-La Land Crafts the theme is Something New!  I haven't been buying a lot lately but I did get a few new metal embellies, including this key, so decided to use it for this challenge.

I used some gorgeous 7 Dots papers for this card and May Arts twine and lace.  I used the Lattice Border Die as a base to my design in blue, adding some lace between the two borders. I then added the Picket Fence Die to fit in with the vintage image. I added some gorgeous Prima and Petaloo flowers and the Berry Flourish leaves tucked into them. I added a twine bow and key to the card and then finished the card off with two Scalloped Banner die cuts.

As you can see, I just love using vintage images!
I hope you like my card this week!!

Always Believe Layout for Berry71bleu Flowers Galore challenge

Hi, Cathi here! The March challenge is called Flowers Galore and is hosted by Carole Wright, who created amazing flowery mood board. The more flowers you will use, the better :) Spring is around the corner and we all need colors and beauty. Please feel free to create any project with flowers - it could be home decor, art-journal page, layout, altered art or anything - but please make sure it is flowery :)

For this project I used some of my favourites: gorgeous chipboards by our sponsor Scrapiniec and stunning Soulmate papers by our second sponsor 7 Dots Studio. Such amazing products from both these sponsors!!

Our theme is flowers galore, so I have added lots of gorgeous Prima flowers to this layout!! I sprayed the gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboard flourish with a pink mist and added lots of 7 Dots Studio papers, tags, and stickers.

I absolutely love the image I found. This layout will be an inspirational piece for my daughter, who is ballet mad and dreaming of a future as a dancer, not the easiest path to follow.  I layered on lots more flowers here and added another gorgeous detailed clock chipboard from Scrapiniec .

I added some masking with modeling paste, misting and stamping. I made a whimsical banner with a fun punch I got and some twine, I attached to the layout with my Tiny Attacher! I really love how this turned out and I hope you will join in with us and make a flowery creation!!

For inspiration I have used the Lindy's Stamp Gang color challenge board.  I used the yummy C'est La Vie Cerise with my background and Cotton Candy Pink for the chipboard in my layout.

Our sponsors provided prizes with international shipping included! Yay!!

1st Prize:
Set of chipboard from Scrapiniec

Random Prize:
Set of products from 7 Dots Studio

Cherish

Good morning scrappy friends, Cathi here!!  I'd love to share another layout this week featuring my youngest daughter Aisling! I thought this Vintage Venture "Skies" paper of course reminded me of sky and fit in perfectly with my photo. She is climbing on playground equipment having a great time!

Her clothing in the photo is a bright cute orange and yellow so I decided to use those colors in the layout, adding some lovely flowers from Prima and the pretty soft orange "Carte" paper strips.  I used an adorable camera chipboard from Wycinaka to add to my flower cluster.

I added some fun stitching , buttons, and twine details and added the title.

As you can see I love to use mixed media on my projects so I have used my stencils, stamps, molding paste and mists to create some depth to my background.

I just love how versatile the Vintage Venture papers are, you can make gorgeous vintage projects with them but also are perfect for mixed media too!

St. Patrick's Day Card for La-La Land Crafts

This week at La-La Land Crafts the theme is St. Patrick's Day or Luck!  St. Patrick's Day is a national holiday and holy day here in Ireland!  I have decided to use a vintage greeting image for my card and of course used several La-La Land Crafts dies to make it special!

I used a base paper of pink and green so continued that theme uisng lots of green and pink accents in my dies. I started off with the Heart Doily Border Die layered under the image. I added some burlap ribbon on top of the doilies before layering the image for a bit of dimension and interest. I added a Prima flower and then some roses using the Rolled Rose Large Die and the Rolled Rose Small and Medium dies. I tucked in the leaves from the Open Leaf Flourish Die. To finish off the card I added a pretty pink butterfly from the Butterflies Set 1.

I hope you like my card this week!!

Happy Together Layout for La-La Land Crafts

This week at La-La Land Crafts the theme is Three Types of Embellishments!  We are supposed to add three different types of embellishments to our project, I added flowers, metal pieces and resins.

I chose this gorgeous photo of my two girls and my parents dog! We bonded with the doggie this past summer when we visited them for six weeks. We love to go for a long visit every second year.  I used lots of gorgeous Prima and Petaloo flowers here as well as Prima metal word sign. I added a fun metal paper clip that says happy on the photo and tucked in a resin piece and leaves from the Open Leaf Flourish die in my flower cluster.

In this closeup you can see the gorgeous Steampunk Clock Die . I added some flowers and another resin piece here and again tucked in a leaf from the Open Leaf Flourish and pieces from the Honeycomb Die.

I used two different sizes of the Stitched Nested Circles dies on my layout to carry the flow from the photo cluster up to the other cluster in the opposite corners. I added the Honeycomb Die under the photo and I finished off the layout with just a few splashes.

I hope you like my layout this week!!
